Rank OS (“Rank OS”, “we”, “us”) is a members-only SEO tool at getrankos.com, part of The New Search. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how we protect it, and the choices you have. We keep it plain-English on purpose.
You can only use Rank OS if you are an active member of The New Search community. We collect the minimum we need to sign you in, confirm your membership, and run the tools you ask us to — nothing more. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
When you connect Google Search Console, Rank OS requests a single read-only scope, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly. We use it for one purpose: to show you your own search-performance data and opportunities inside Rank OS. We never create, edit or delete anything in your Search Console.
Your Google authorisation tokens are encrypted at rest and are used only to retrieve your data on your behalf. We do not store copies of your Search Console reports beyond what is needed to display and cache them for you in the app.
Rank OS’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide or improve this feature for you, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition. We do not allow humans to read your Google data except with your explicit consent, for security or debugging you request, or where required by law.
You can disconnect Search Console inside Rank OS at any time, which deletes your stored tokens immediately. You can also revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Rank OS is hosted on Vercel, and application data is stored in Upstash (Redis). All traffic is served over HTTPS, and sensitive credentials such as your Google tokens are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data with sensible, industry-standard measures.
We keep your account and connection data while your membership is active. Disconnecting an integration deletes its stored tokens straight away. When you leave the community or ask us to close your account, we delete your associated data, except anything we are legally required to keep. To request deletion, email us at kasra@fatrank.com.
You can disconnect any integration at any time and request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing kasra@fatrank.com. Depending on where you live — for example the UK/EEA (UK GDPR / GDPR) or California (CCPA) — you may have additional rights, including access, portability, objection and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. We honour these regardless of where you are.
If we change this policy we will update the “last updated” date above, and we will tell you about material changes in the app or by email before they take effect.
Rank OS is operated by Kasra Dash. For any privacy question or request, email kasra@fatrank.com.
